FOR MANAGING PARTNERS & CAS LEADS

# Your CAS practice is capped by headcount. Ours isn’t.
Every firm hits the same wall scaling Client Advisory Services: you can only take on as many clients as your staff can close and review. We’re the production team behind that wall — running the monthly close and building the management pack in your software, senior-reviewed before it ever reaches you — so headcount stops being what caps how many clients you say yes to.

THE DELIVERABLE

## One pack. A full back office behind it.
The same review-ready pack a partner would sign off on — produced end to end, so you’re not staffing for it.

### The monthly management pack
One dated deliverable that goes out under your name — P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, a KPI summary, and short variance notes — in your firm’s own template, by the 5th business day, every month. It comes with the monthly close, bookkeeping, payroll, sales tax, and tax-filing prep that has to happen first — the part that currently eats your staff’s time before they ever touch the client-facing work.

### Month-End Close
Workpapers and tie-outs built to the standard your own reviewer would sign off on — the layer under the pack that usually falls to your most senior staff.

### Monthly Bookkeeping
Categorization and bank reconciliations kept current every month, directly in the client’s existing file.

### Payroll
Full-cycle processing, withholdings, and year-end forms — off your team’s plate entirely.

### Multi-State Sales Tax
Registration, calculation, and filing wherever your clients have nexus — tracked so nothing gets missed between states.

### Tax-Filing Prep
Federal and state returns — Forms 1120, 1120-S, 1065, and 1040 — prepared to the point of your firm’s review and signature, not before.
HOW IT WORKS

## Three steps on your side of the wall

### You hand off the books
Straight from your existing engagement — QuickBooks, Xero, whatever the client is already on. Nothing to migrate, no flat files to reconcile.

### We close & a senior reviews
We run the close and build the pack; nothing ships to your firm until a senior accountant has QC’d every line of it.

### You sign off & present
Your firm applies its own template and delivers it. The client’s point of contact never changes — it’s still you.
WHAT FIRMS ASK FIRST

## Built to protect your client relationship

### We never contact your clients
You’re the only point of contact your client ever has. We don’t reach out to them, market to them, or take them on directly — the relationship, and the billing, stays entirely yours. Happy to put that in writing via NDA before any data changes hands.

### A named SLA
Your management pack by the 5th business day, every month — a date you can put in your own client communications, not a vague promise about “insights.”

### Senior review before it reaches you
Every file passes a senior accountant’s QC before it ships — so your own review is a final check on the work, not the first one.

### In your stack, your process
We work inside QuickBooks, Xero, and whatever workpaper process your firm already runs — no flat-file handoffs, nothing new for your team to learn.

### Capacity that flexes with your season
Add clients ahead of busy season, scale back after — without carrying the fixed cost of another hire year-round.
THE ALTERNATIVE

## Another hire, or more capacity this month?
Both get you more CAS capacity. They don’t arrive on the same timeline.
START SMALL

## Pilot it on two or three clients. Move more once it’s proven.
Most firms start with a small block of clients to see the QC and the turnaround firsthand, then move more volume over on their own timeline. No minimum, and it runs fine alongside staff or another provider you already use.

BEFORE YOU BOOK

## What firms ask us first

### Will my clients know Advisory Monks is involved?
No. Every deliverable ships in your firm’s own template and branding, and we never contact your client directly. As far as they know, the work is coming from your firm — because it is.

### Will you ever solicit our clients directly?
No. We work exclusively as your back-office production team — we don’t market to your clients or take them on directly. The relationship and the billing stay with your firm, and we’re glad to confirm that in writing via an NDA before any client data changes hands.

### What if we already have in-house staff or another offshore provider?
That’s the normal starting point. Most firms run a small pilot block alongside whatever capacity they already have, then shift more volume over once the QC and turnaround are proven — there’s no requirement to move everything at once.

### How is quality controlled before a deliverable reaches us?
A senior accountant QCs every file — workpapers, tie-outs, and the pack itself — before anything ships to your firm. Your own review is a final check on the work, not the first pass through it.

### What software do you work in?
QuickBooks Online, Xero, or whatever your client is already running. We work inside the existing file — there’s no flat-file handoff and nothing new for your team to learn.

### Is there a minimum commitment or a long-term contract?
No volume minimum — firms typically start with a pilot block of a few clients. You can cancel anytime; unused time is refunded pro-rata under our standard refund policy.

| --- | --- | --- |
| Time to add capacity | Weeks to source, interview, and hire | A pilot block, days after a fit call |
| Cost structure | Salary, benefits, payroll tax, training — fixed, year-round | Pay for the capacity you use, month to month |
| Coverage on PTO or turnover | One person out means the work waits | Backed by a full production team, not one hire |
| Review before it reaches a partner | You’re the only reviewer | Senior QC happens before it reaches you |
| Scaling for busy season | Fixed headcount, hard to flex either direction | Flex up for season, down after — no layoffs |
